Mathematical optimization is a cross-section technology. It extends from the design phase to the process.
Basis of our work is modeling, i.e. the translation of reality into a mathematical model. This is the base that simulations and optimizations can be applied.
In the simulation, also the variation of parameters for the determination of optimal settings is much easier and cheaper than in reality. Thus, the reversal of the usual development process is possible: you predefine what a system should do, and try to optimize this by simulation.
The goal is to improve production processes, to verify feasibility, to test variants or optimize products.
