SIMON Modellierungen GmbH specializes in mathematical modeling and optimization in the automation industry. With the help of general algorithms and software for single axes, multi-axis systems and robots, customer-specific solutions are implemented in the context of digital automation. We consider motion control and optimization holistically in the sense of our vision Real Motion – Design – Size – Drive – Analyze – Optimize.
For robotic applications, we provide models from path kinematics to mechanical robot dynamics and the drive train to the power connection. Using our optimizations wear and tear as well as the energy footprint can be significantly reduced.
We also support in simulation and design of robots using SERVOsoft®, the market-leading modeling tool for the drive train from our partner ControlEng Corporation, under whose hood also our optimizing software ticks.
Dynamic behaviour of robots is thereby easily modeled using our SiMoRob software library, which includes for example the mechanical models from our partner autonox Robotics GmbH. For furthermore needed multibody modelling and co-simulations as well as FMU exports we rely on the proven Modelica.
